JAC OLIVOL has appointed Somak Shome as Head of (Enterprise) IT, marking a key leadership addition as the company accelerates its growth strategy. Based in Kolkata, West Bengal, Somak stepped into the role in February 2026 and will lead the organisation’s enterprise technology, digital and cybersecurity initiatives.

JAC OLIVOL is currently expanding beyond its original single-brand focus to build a comprehensive portfolio of personal care and wellness products catering to both men and women. In this context, Somak’s role will be instrumental in strengthening enterprise IT systems, enhancing digital capabilities and reinforcing cybersecurity frameworks to support the company’s broader business ambitions.
Prior to joining JAC OLIVOL, Somak served as a Startup Advisor on a freelance basis in January 2026 in the Greater Kolkata Area. Before that, he was associated with LTIMindtree as Managing Principal (Consulting), Cybersecurity and Global Head – Cybersecurity GRC practice from April 2023 to January 2026. In this capacity, he led global governance, risk and compliance initiatives within the cybersecurity domain.
Earlier, he held the role of General Manager, Cybersecurity and Global Head – Cybersecurity GRC practice at Mindtree from September 2022 to March 2023 in the Greater Kolkata Area, where he focused on strengthening cybersecurity governance and risk management practices.
Somak also served at Wipro Limited as Director and Regional CISO for Business (Europe) from June 2021 to September 2022, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In that position, he was responsible for overseeing regional cybersecurity strategy and aligning information security initiatives with business objectives across European operations.
With extensive experience spanning cybersecurity governance, enterprise risk management and digital transformation, Somak Shome brings strategic clarity and operational depth to his new role. His appointment signals JAC OLIVOL’s commitment to building a resilient, secure and digitally empowered foundation as it scales its personal care and wellness portfolio.
