Jagdish Mahapatra has been appointed as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) for Google Cloud Security, bringing with him over 20 years of global leadership experience in cybersecurity, cloud, and enterprise technology.
Based in Singapore, Jagdish joins Google after a high-impact role as CRO at ColorTokens Inc., where he led global go-to-market operations across the US, EMEA, and APJ. Prior to that, he served as Vice President and Managing Director – Asia at CrowdStrike, where he scaled the regional business by 100x and cultivated one of Asia’s most admired tech cultures, earning “Great Place to Work” accolades in both Singapore and India.
Earlier in his career, Jagdish held pivotal leadership roles at McAfee, including Managing Director for India and SAARC, and later led channels and alliances across APAC, overseeing a $150 million+ partner-led business. His foundation in enterprise technology was built during his decade-long tenure at Cisco, where he contributed to scaling regional operations from $50 million to $1 billion and launched multiple go-to-market innovations.
In addition to his corporate leadership, Jagdish is a TED speaker, angel investor, and advisor to several high-growth tech startups, embodying a powerful blend of enterprise discipline and startup agility.
In his new role at Google, Jagdish will be responsible for driving revenue acceleration, strategic partnerships, and customer success for Google Cloud Security across the Asia Pacific & Japan region. His appointment is aligned with Google Cloud’s broader mission of securing digital transformation at scale for businesses navigating complex and evolving threat landscapes.
