Jayashree Naik has taken on a new role as India Security Leader at Cloudflare, bringing with her over 20 years of deep expertise in cybersecurity leadership. With a proven track record in managing global security operations, Jayashree’s appointment underscores Cloudflare’s commitment to strengthening its security infrastructure in the region.
Previously, she served as Head of Cybersecurity India at First Citizens India and Silicon Valley Bank, and as Head of Security Engineering at Trellix. Jayashree has also been a Senior Executive Member of the India Managing Committee for Large Global Capability Centers (GCCs), and held the role of Head of Technology & Cyber Security for LFI, in addition to leading large global teams across business units.
Reflecting on her journey, Jayashree shares, “With over two decades of senior leadership experience in Cybersecurity, I specialize in areas like Security Operations, Engineering, and Architecture, Network Security & Endpoint Security, Software Development, QA, and Risk Management.”
Throughout her career, she has built and led global CISO teams, playing pivotal roles in Security Operations Center (SOC), Data Loss Prevention, Identity Access Management, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, and Cloud Security, as well as Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Business Continuity and Resiliency.
Jayashree has consistently driven organizational success through a combination of strategic delivery, risk management, and operational performance. “I have successfully led large global CISO teams and played key roles in… Driving innovation and motivating interdisciplinary teams for high-impact outcomes,” she notes.
Her professional strengths lie in building robust security and governance frameworks, aligning them with business goals, and leading transformative security initiatives in complex, high-risk environments. She has also been instrumental in contract/vendor negotiations, agile software development, and IT asset management.
