KFin Technologies Limited has announced significant changes to its Senior Management Personnel, effective February 09, 2026, underscoring the company’s strategic emphasis on governance, compliance, and enterprise risk management. The Board of Directors approved these organizational changes through a circular resolution passed on February 09, 2026.
As part of the restructuring, Mr. Anish Kumar has transitioned into the role of Chief Compliance Officer. In parallel, Ms. Shailaja V has been appointed as Chief Risk Officer & Data Protection Officer. Both executives assumed their new responsibilities with immediate effect on February 09, 2026.
Mr. Anish Kumar – Chief Compliance Officer
He brings over 25+ years of experience in the capital markets ecosystem to his new position. A Commerce Graduate and a qualified Company Secretary, he has built an extensive career across key market institutions, including Metropolitan Stock Exchange (formerly MCX Stock Exchange Limited), National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), and National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL).
Throughout his professional journey, Kumar has held critical leadership roles such as Chief Risk Officer, Listing Head & Compliance Officer across various segments of the capital market infrastructure, including Mutual Funds, Stock Exchanges, and Depository operations. Prior to this change in designation at KFin Technologies, he served as Chief Risk Officer, Listing Head & Compliance Officer within the organization. With his transition to Chief Compliance Officer, the company reinforces its regulatory oversight and compliance framework, reflecting its commitment to maintaining high standards within an increasingly complex financial and regulatory environment.
Ms. Shailaja V – Chief Risk Officer & Data Protection Officer
The Board has also approved the appointment of Ms. Shailaja V as Chief Risk Officer & Data Protection Officer (Senior Management Personnel), effective February 09, 2026. In this dual capacity, she will be responsible for overseeing enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, information security, and data protection strategies. Her mandate includes ensuring alignment with global standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
Ms. Shailaja V holds a BSc and an MBA in IT & Systems Management and brings more than 15 years of professional experience across leading organizations including Infosys, Hinduja Global Solutions, and Deloitte. Prior to this appointment, she served as DVP – Risk Audit and Data Privacy at KFin Technologies Limited, where she focused on strengthening risk management practices and privacy compliance. Earlier, as Senior Data Privacy Manager at Infosys, she led enterprise-wide privacy and compliance programs. She has also held key roles at HGS and Deloitte Touche Venture Support, developing expertise across compliance, business excellence, quality assurance, and regulatory risk management. For the past 2.5 years, she has been associated with KFin Technologies Limited, specializing in Risk Management and Data Privacy Compliance, positioning her strongly for this expanded leadership responsibility.
