Kunal Saurabh has been appointed as Head of Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence – India at Aequor. In this role, he will lead the organization’s AI innovation agenda, focusing on building and scaling enterprise-grade AI systems that deliver measurable business impact. His mandate includes translating complex technologies into production-ready solutions while strengthening Aequor’s AI capabilities in India.
Kunal brings a strong foundation in advanced AI engineering, machine learning, computer vision, and product strategy. He is expected to drive the development of cutting-edge AI initiatives and enable the adoption of scalable, data-driven solutions across the organization.
Prior to joining Aequor, he served as Data Scientist Technical Lead at Pyramid Consulting Inc., where he built a multimodal Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platform for BFSI and insurance use cases. This platform integrated advanced NLP capabilities and APIs to enable intelligent data processing and decision-making systems.
Earlier, at HCLTech, he worked as Data Scientist Technical Lead (ERS), where he developed workforce management solutions using predictive analytics. His work involved forecasting customer service staffing requirements based on historical data, helping organizations optimize budgeting and operational efficiency.
He also served as Senior Technical Consultant – Data Science at Dysmech Consultancy Services, contributing to enterprise data science initiatives and strengthening his expertise in applied AI and analytics.
In addition, Kunal has been associated with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), where he contributed as an AI and IoT expert, further expanding his experience across research-driven innovation and real-world technology applications.
With diverse experience across consulting, enterprise technology, and research environments, Kunal brings a blend of strategic insight and deep technical expertise. His appointment is expected to accelerate Aequor’s AI-led transformation, enabling the organization to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions across industries.
