LTIMindtree, a leading information technology firm, has unveiled a new integrated solution, GCC-as-a-Service, aimed at assisting global companies in building, expanding, and modernising their Global Capability Centres (GCCs) across India and other strategic markets.
Launched on July 1, the offering encompasses the full spectrum of Build, Operate, Transform (BOT) and Build, Operate, Transform, Transfer (BOTT) models. The service is tailored for both companies establishing new GCCs and those seeking to optimise or scale existing captive operations.
“GCCs are becoming strategic centers for industry-specific transformation and efficiency,” said Venu Lambu, CEO and MD of LTI-Mindtree. “Our GCC-as-a-Service helps enterprises evolve their GCCs into global innovation hubs, leveraging scalable, responsible AI for competitive advantage.”
This move positions LTIMindtree among a growing list of Indian technology players capitalising on the increasing demand for full-service GCC enablement. It follows the recent announcement from Quess Corp, which introduced “Origint” in June—a similar end-to-end GCC-as-a-service platform targeting global firms setting up operations in India.
India continues to be a hotbed for GCC activity, currently hosting more than 1,700 centres. These facilities are established by multinational companies to perform core IT and business operations. In 2024 alone, GCCs added approximately 1.8 lakh jobs, contributing to a 17% year-on-year tech workforce growth. By 2030, the GCC sector in India is projected to reach a market value of $105 billion, employing around 2.4 million professionals.
LTIMindtree’s new service provides a comprehensive menu of offerings, including support with legal and regulatory compliance, infrastructure setup, transition planning, and AI-powered talent solutions. Clients can customise their engagement based on their operational maturity and strategic goals.
The offering is built on LTIMindtree’s proprietary BlueVerse Agentic AI ecosystem, supported by AI studios across the US, Europe, and India, allowing clients to embed intelligent automation and scalable AI into their GCC operations from the outset.
With this launch, LTIMindtree aims to redefine how enterprises set up and scale their GCCs, transforming them from cost centres into AI-driven global innovation hubs.
