Malika Kutub Appointed Director at InMobi Advertising to Drive Client Partnerships and Growth Across APAC

InMobi Advertising has announced the appointment of Malika Kutub as Director, where she will lead client partnerships and spearhead business growth initiatives across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. With a proven track record in digital media, advertising, and ad-tech, Malika’s appointment reinforces InMobi’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the region through strategic collaborations and innovative marketing solutions.

In her new role, Malika will focus on strengthening InMobi’s client ecosystem, accelerating market growth, and deepening partnerships with leading brands and agencies. Her extensive experience in scaling digital businesses and building high-performing teams will play a crucial role as InMobi continues to evolve its advertising technology and data-driven offerings for the APAC market.

Malika joins InMobi from JioStar, where she served as Executive Director – International Markets and Alternate Channels. During her tenure, she led the company’s global expansion efforts, crafting and executing cross-border go-to-market strategies that helped JioStar enter new territories and strengthen its international presence. Her leadership at JioStar reflects a deep understanding of market dynamics and the ability to align business goals with innovative growth strategies.

Prior to her time at JioStar, Malika spent over five years at Disney+ Hotstar, holding several senior roles including LCS Head, Sales Director, and Agency Director. She was a key force behind the scaling of Disney+ Hotstar’s advertising business, successfully partnering with more than 100 top advertisers and leveraging the platform’s advanced ad-tech capabilities to deliver measurable outcomes.

Her professional journey also spans Dailyhunt (Verse Innovation Pvt. Ltd.), Network18 Media & Investments Limited, NDTV Media, and The PRactice, where she built a strong foundation in client relations, business strategy, and digital monetisation. Across these roles, Malika consistently demonstrated her ability to combine creativity with strategic insight to drive impactful results.

Malika’s appointment at InMobi marks a strategic move for the company as it continues to strengthen its leadership team in APAC and push the boundaries of digital advertising innovation in one of the world’s most dynamic and competitive markets.
