
Mastercard has appointed Deepanshu Arora as Director – Technology Risk Management, a move aimed at further strengthening the organization’s approach to technology risk, security, and governance. In his new role, Deepanshu will be responsible for advancing risk management frameworks, supporting regulatory and compliance requirements, and helping ensure secure and resilient technology operations across Mastercard’s global ecosystem.
Deepanshu brings extensive experience across technology risk, information security, and compliance within the financial services and technology sectors. Prior to joining Mastercard, he served as Senior Vice President – Group Security at NAB, where he spent two and a half years leading key security initiatives and contributing to the organization’s broader risk and governance agenda.
Earlier in his career, Deepanshu held impactful roles at IBM, HCLTech, and Axis Bank. Across these positions, he built deep expertise in areas including cloud risk, information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance. His professional journey reflects a strong balance between strategic leadership and hands-on execution across complex enterprise environments.
With this appointment, Deepanshu Arora brings a well-rounded perspective shaped by experience across global technology firms and financial institutions. His role at Mastercard will focus on reinforcing robust technology risk practices and supporting the company’s continued emphasis on secure, reliable, and compliant operations at scale.
