MobiKwik has announced the elevation of Saurabh Dwivedi as its new Chief Technology Officer. Dwivedi, who joined the company in August 2023 as Senior Vice President – Engineering (Payments), will now lead engineering across four key areas—Payments, Financial Services, Core Platform, and Infrastructure & InfoSec. His new role comes as MobiKwik aims to further strengthen its product and technology backbone.
“Saurabh has demonstrated remarkable leadership in inspiring our engineering team to set high standards for our core product as well as driving innovation through new ideas,” said Bipin Preet Singh, Co-founder, MD and CEO of MobiKwik.
In his previous role, Dwivedi was instrumental in shaping high-performing engineering teams and enhancing platform scalability. His appointment is part of the company’s broader strategy to deepen its technology capabilities.
“My focus will be on building a unified yet flexible infrastructure that serves diverse businesses at different stages of maturity, while maintaining reliability and innovation for our users,” Dwivedi stated.
Dwivedi brings a rich background in engineering leadership, having held senior roles at MakeMyTrip, American Express, and Satyam. He holds a BTech in Computer Science from GGSIP University and has completed an advanced business analytics programme at IIT Mumbai.
In parallel, MobiKwik has also promoted Dhruv Wadhera to the role of Senior Vice President – Offline Payments. Wadhera, who joined the firm in June 2023, has been leading efforts to expand MobiKwik’s reach across Tier II and Tier III cities.
