NCC Limited Appoints Bikram K Nayak as Vice President – HR to Lead Large-Scale People Transformation

NCC Limited has announced the appointment of Bikram K Nayak as Vice President – Human Resources, entrusting him with leadership of the company’s people strategy across one of India’s largest construction and infrastructure organizations. In his new role, he will oversee HR transformation for a workforce of more than 15,000 employees spread across 13 regional offices, bringing with him decades of multifaceted experience across HR leadership, organizational development, and large-scale workforce strategy. Nayak’s background in talent management, leadership development, digital HR systems, and culture-building positions him well to drive NCC’s next phase of human capital evolution.

Before joining NCC Limited, Bikram served as CHRO – Alumina Business at Vedanta, where he played a central role in aligning people practices with the company’s global growth aspirations. His earlier entrepreneurial stint at Empert Consultants offered him an opportunity to work closely with startups and multinational clients, guiding them on specialized hiring, leadership development, and HR transformation initiatives. This experience broadened his exposure to fast-scaling environments and diverse organizational challenges.

Bikram’s professional foundation was shaped across prominent roles at Mindtree and during his extensive 24-year tenure at Larsen & Toubro, where he held several senior leadership positions. Among his key contributions at L&T were heading HR for L&T-NxT, driving global HR policy modernization, and leading leadership hiring directly from the CEO & MD’s office. His work spanned high-impact areas including talent pipeline creation, digital workplace initiatives, performance systems, and workforce productivity improvements—all critical for large enterprises undergoing modernization.

Across his career, Bikram has developed deep strengths in HR excellence, diversity and inclusion, people-centric digital transformation, and building scalable leadership frameworks. His experience across infrastructure, manufacturing, technology, and consulting gives him a broad perspective on the talent needs of modern enterprises—an advantage as NCC continues strengthening its workforce capabilities and operational scale.

With this appointment, NCC Limited is reinforcing its commitment to nurturing a future-ready workforce and strengthening its organizational culture. Under Bikram K Nayak’s leadership, the company is expected to advance strategic HR initiatives that support its long-term business priorities and operational ambitions.
