NIIT Limited has announced the appointment of Shilpa Dua as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective October 30, 2025. Bringing with her over 18 years of experience in human resources leadership, Dua has built a strong career across diverse sectors including financial services, retail, consumer goods, and healthcare. Her appointment underscores NIIT’s continued focus on strengthening its people-first culture and advancing organizational excellence through strategic HR transformation.
Prior to joining NIIT Limited, Shilpa Dua served as Corporate Vice President and Head HR – Axis Partnership at Axis Max Life Insurance Limited, where she played a pivotal role in leading transformative people initiatives that enhanced employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Before her tenure at Axis Max Life, Dua was General Manager – HR at Walmart India Private Limited, where she contributed significantly to HR modernization, workforce capability building, and operational agility. She also held several leadership roles at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd., driving critical programs in employee relations, talent acquisition, and organization development.
Earlier in her career, she spent over six years with GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, L.P., where she led strategic HR projects in leadership development, capability building, and talent management, laying a strong foundation for her career in enterprise HR strategy and development.
Dua’s appointment comes at a time when NIIT is focusing on scaling its global talent initiatives and embedding digital HR solutions to support its growth ambitions.
