Persistent Systems Partners with DigitalOcean to Power Scalable, Cost-Effective AI Infrastructure

Persistent Systems has entered into a strategic partnership with cloud computing platform DigitalOcean to accelerate AI adoption among enterprises and developers by delivering scalable, secure and cost-efficient infrastructure for AI workloads. The collaboration is aimed at simplifying how organisations build and deploy AI solutions, particularly for digital-native and AI-first businesses seeking faster time to value without the complexity of managing underlying infrastructure.

As part of the agreement, Persistent has chosen DigitalOcean as the cloud and AI infrastructure provider for SASVA, its AI-powered platform designed to unify code, documentation, system architecture and executive-level summaries across a wide range of workflows and user roles. By standardising on DigitalOcean’s infrastructure, Persistent plans to offer customers a more streamlined and efficient foundation for deploying AI-driven applications.

SASVA will run on DigitalOcean’s Gradient AI Agentic Cloud, which provides high-performance GPUs and managed environments to support the entire agent development lifecycle. The platform is built to handle AI workloads at scale, enabling organisations to move from experimentation to production more quickly. Persistent said the decision to use Gradient AI Agentic Cloud was driven by its ability to support AI-native customers while lowering infrastructure and maintenance overhead through preconfigured, ready-to-use environments.

“DigitalOcean’s agentic cloud delivers the infrastructure, platform, and services that make AI accessible, scalable, and cost-effective,” said Paddy Srinivasan, CEO of DigitalOcean. His comments highlight the company’s focus on democratising AI infrastructure for a broader set of users beyond large hyperscalers.

Persistent CEO and Executive Director Sandeep Kalra emphasised the broader impact of the partnership, stating, “Together, we are simplifying how organisations build, deploy and scale AI, strengthening the foundation for the next wave of intelligent, platform-driven innovation.” The collaboration aligns with Persistent’s strategy of combining engineering expertise with modern cloud platforms to help clients operationalise AI more efficiently.

The partnership reflects a growing trend among technology services firms to work with cloud providers that offer specialised AI infrastructure tailored for developers and mid-market enterprises. By integrating SASVA with DigitalOcean’s agentic cloud capabilities, Persistent aims to deliver flexible AI solutions that can scale with customer needs while keeping costs predictable.

Overall, the collaboration positions both companies to address rising demand for practical, production-ready AI platforms. For enterprises and developers alike, the combination of Persistent’s AI-driven platforms and DigitalOcean’s managed AI infrastructure is expected to reduce complexity, accelerate deployment cycles and enable more sustainable AI adoption.
