Procter & Gamble has announced that Shailesh Jejurikar will take over as President and Chief Executive Officer of THE PROCTER & GAMBLE DISTRIBUTING COMPANY LLC, starting January 1, 2026. Jejurikar, who currently serves as Chief Operating Officer, will succeed Jon Moeller. Moeller will step into the role of Executive Chairman, where he will continue to guide the Board and contribute to the company’s long-term strategic direction.
Jejurikar’s appointment is part of a carefully structured succession plan, ensuring leadership continuity as P&G builds on its momentum. A seasoned executive with over 30 years at P&G, Jejurikar has held leadership roles across diverse geographies and business categories, including Fabric Care, Home Care, and Enterprise Markets. His nomination for election to the Board of Directors will be presented at the shareholders’ meeting in October 2025.
Lead Director Joe Jimenez commended Moeller for his impactful tenure, highlighting his role in reshaping the company’s operations and performance. Jejurikar, who began his journey at P&G in 1989, spoke about his vision for the company’s future.
