
Pidilite Industries Limited has announced the appointment of Rajesh Joshi as Chief Business Officer – New Businesses, effective February 2, 2026, as part of a broader strengthening of its senior management team. The appointment was approved by the company’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee and disclosed through a regulatory filing in accordance with SEBI requirements.
Based in Mumbai, Rajesh Joshi will be responsible for driving growth initiatives across Pidilite’s new business platforms. His mandate includes overseeing the company’s existing and proposed subsidiaries and joint ventures in India and overseas, as well as evaluating and executing mergers and acquisitions aligned with Pidilite’s long-term growth strategy and value creation objectives.
Rajesh brings more than three decades of leadership experience across consumer products, building materials, paints, telecom, and retail sectors. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Everest Industries Limited, where he led the transformation of the listed building materials company and steered its strategic and operational evolution.
His association with Pidilite Industries spans several senior leadership roles. Earlier in his career, he served as President – Strategic Initiatives and President – Consumer Products (MNT) at Pidilite, contributing to portfolio development and business expansion initiatives. He also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at ICA Pidilite, the company’s joint venture with Italy-based ICA, where he played a key role in setting up the joint venture’s first manufacturing facility outside Italy.
Beyond Pidilite, Rajesh has held leadership roles at organisations including Bharti Airtel, Future Group, Asian Paints, and ICA Pidilite, building a broad base of experience across diverse business models and market segments. His appointment reflects Pidilite Industries’ intent to accelerate growth through structured expansion across new platforms under experienced leadership.
In the same regulatory filing, Pidilite Industries also announced the appointment of Mrs. Ami Parikh as President – Legal. He brings 25 years of experience across legal, compliance, and governance functions in both corporate and law firm environments. Together, the two appointments are aimed at strengthening leadership depth across legal governance and new business development.
Pidilite Industries stated that these senior management additions are part of its ongoing efforts to enhance organisational capability and leadership strength as the company pursues sustained growth across core and emerging business areas.
