
Kotak Mahindra Bank has announced the appointment of Pooja Sood Dutta as Senior Vice President & Head – Program, Corporate Employee Solutions. In this strategic role, she will focus on driving the Corporate Salary Ecosystem, boosting CASA growth, enhancing cross-sell opportunities, and improving customer engagement – key pillars for strengthening the bank’s retail and institutional presence.
Pooja brings with her nearly 20 years of experience across prominent financial institutions, combining deep expertise in product management, institutional banking, operations, process improvement, and customer solutions. Her career journey reflects a strong track record of building and executing strategies that deliver measurable results.
A significant part of her professional experience – 12 years – was with ICICI Bank, where she was instrumental in shaping strategies for the salaried segment, Key Account Management (KAM), and institutional banking. Her contributions were critical in developing scalable frameworks that strengthened ICICI’s outreach and engagement with corporate clients.
Beyond ICICI Bank, Pooja has held several impactful leadership roles across the BFSI sector. At Religare Finvest Limited, she led Program Management Office (PMO) initiatives and quality improvement efforts that enhanced operational efficiency. She also headed branch operations at ICICI Lombard, building a strong foundation in customer service delivery and process excellence. Her early career at Citifinancial Consumer Finance India Ltd. gave her exposure to retail lending operations and customer-centric financial solutions, further rounding out her expertise.
Speaking on her new role, the bank highlighted that Pooja’s appointment aligns with its commitment to strengthening Corporate Employee Solutions as a growth engine. By leveraging her diverse experience, she is expected to build innovative programs that deepen customer engagement, create value-driven salary propositions, and accelerate CASA acquisition.
