Prior to joining Lentra, Kumar served as Managing Director and CEO at TransUnion CIBIL Limited, where he played a crucial role in reinforcing India’s credit infrastructure. Earlier in his career, he held the position of Group Head – Retail Credit and Risk at HDFC Bank. During his tenure, he was instrumental in building and scaling robust credit and risk management frameworks, particularly for large retail portfolios. His experience reflects a strong track record of balancing growth objectives with disciplined risk management practices.
