
Societe Generale Global Solution Centre has promoted Ranjit Nair to the position of Vice President, marking a significant milestone in his tenure with the organisation. In his new role, Nair will lead the Equities Market Risk and P&L (MMG) function, with a focus on advancing risk metrics production, including FRTB frameworks, and strengthening regulatory compliance and operational efficiency across the Bangalore hub.
Nair has been associated with Societe Generale for nearly a decade, previously serving as Unit Head and Function Head. In these roles, he oversaw global P&L delivery across multiple regions, including Asia, Paris, and New York. He was instrumental in driving transformation initiatives aimed at improving reporting accuracy, enhancing data governance, and streamlining processes across the organisation.
Earlier in his career, Ranjit Nair gained valuable experience in financial markets and risk management at Morgan Stanley, where he developed expertise in regulatory frameworks and market risk operations.
In his expanded leadership role at Societe Generale, Nair will continue to drive innovation and efficiency in risk management processes while ensuring robust compliance and high-quality delivery across global equities operations.
