Rocket.new Secures $15M Seed Funding to Scale AI App-Building Platform

Indian AI startup Rocket.new, which enables users to build production-ready applications from natural-language prompts, has raised $15 million in a seed round led by Salesforce Ventures, with participation from Accel and Together Fund. The funding comes just three months after the company’s beta launch, underscoring strong investor confidence in its rapid growth trajectory.

Since going live, Rocket.new has already amassed over 400,000 users across 180 countries, including 10,000 paying subscribers, and achieved an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $4.5 million. Co-founder and CEO Vishal Virani shared ambitious growth targets, aiming to reach $20–$25 million in revenue by the end of this year and $60–$70 million by June 2026.

Positioning itself as more than just a no-code app builder, Rocket.new focuses on long-term usability and adaptability. “We are building the first vibe solution platform, which is not solving just a problem of day one, but what we are focusing on is solving the problem of day two,” said Virani. By combining large language models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google’s Gemini with its own proprietary deep learning systems, the platform allows users to create mobile apps, websites, conduct competitive research, and even manage product development workflows.

Investors see Rocket.new as uniquely positioned to tackle the challenges of scaling and maintaining enterprise applications. “Rocket.new is purpose-built to solve this problem of iteration, maintenance, and deployment at enterprise scale,” said Kartik Gupta, Investor at Salesforce Ventures.

Currently operating with a team of 58 employees based largely in Surat, Rocket.new plans to double its engineering and product staff in India to strengthen R&D and accelerate expansion. This talent push aligns with the startup’s goal of becoming a global leader in AI-driven software development.

The investment also reflects growing momentum in India’s AI ecosystem, where startups are increasingly attracting global capital by solving real-world enterprise problems with cutting-edge AI. For Rocket.new, the new funding provides a runway to sharpen its product, expand its customer base, and cement its place in the competitive AI-first app development space.

With impressive early traction and bold revenue ambitions, Rocket.new is positioning itself at the intersection of AI innovation and enterprise demand for faster, smarter, and scalable software solutions.
