
Intact India has appointed Sameer Madan as Chief of Finance, Technology and Operations (CFTO) for its India Global Capability Center (GCC). In this leadership role, he will focus on strengthening the organisation’s finance, technology, and operational frameworks while supporting the continued growth and strategic development of Intact’s India operations.
Madan brings extensive experience in controllership, financial reporting, compliance, and global finance operations. His role will involve enhancing governance frameworks, improving operational efficiency, and aligning finance and technology capabilities to support the expanding scope of the company’s GCC in India.
Prior to joining Intact India, Madan served as Principal Advisor at Fractal in a part-time capacity based in Gurugram. In this role, he contributed to the development of finance-oriented AI solutions by bringing a practical CFO perspective to product design and business value articulation. He supported solution refinement aligned with CFO priorities, strengthened value narratives and business-case frameworks, and helped translate analytical outputs into executive-ready insights.
Earlier in his career, Madan spent nearly 19 years at Agilent Technologies, where he held multiple senior leadership roles across global finance operations. Most recently, he served as Director in the Country Controllership Organization, where he led an India-based team responsible for US GAAP and local legal compliance and reporting for Agilent subsidiaries around the world.
Before that, he served as Director – Global Credit, Collections & Accounts Receivables at Agilent Technologies, where he oversaw global credit management, collections processes, and accounts receivable operations, gaining deep expertise in financial operations and governance across international markets.
With a strong background in global finance leadership, regulatory compliance, and technology-enabled financial transformation, Madan’s appointment is expected to further strengthen Intact India’s finance and operational capabilities while supporting the organisation’s broader growth and innovation objectives.
