Veeam Software has appointed Sandhya Vinay as the new Director – HR, India & SAARC, a strategic move aimed at strengthening its regional talent strategy and expanding its footprint in India as a critical hub for engineering and sales. In this leadership role, Sandhya will be responsible for driving people engagement, shaping an inclusive and high-performance organizational culture, and aligning HR strategy with the company’s long-term growth objectives.
In her new capacity, she will focus on building India’s strategic importance in Veeam’s global roadmap. “She will lead the company’s HR strategy across the region, focusing on building India as a key engineering and sales hub, driving people engagement, and shaping a strong organizational culture.”
Sandhya brings to Veeam over 18 years of diverse and international HR experience, having worked across regions and industries. Prior to this, she held several leadership roles at ABB, where she oversaw large-scale talent management programs, led diversity and inclusion initiatives, and spearheaded HR transformation efforts impacting teams across more than 40 countries. Her approach has consistently revolved around integrating people strategy with business priorities and enabling environments that foster high performance.
Her appointment comes at a time when Veeam is scaling operations and investing heavily in innovation, particularly in cloud data management and cybersecurity. In this context, Sandhya’s experience in change management, talent development, and cross-functional leadership will be instrumental in nurturing the next generation of leaders within the organization.
