Mumbai, India — Sandiip Kothaari, Ph.D., has taken on the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Shrimuktai Mart Pvt Ltd effective August 2025, where he now leads the company’s digital transformation efforts.
Prior to his current position, Kothaari held the role of CTO at Speciality Restaurants, serving from March 2024 to August 2025 and Senior General Manager – IT (Functional Head) at ORRA Fine Jewellery, serving from November 2021 to January 2024, where he managed IT functions to support business operations. He also previously served as Functional Head of Information Technology at Prince Pipes and Fittings Ltd between April 2019 and September 2020, followed by a tenure as CIO at Wonderchef Home Appliances Pvt Ltd from June 2018 to March 2019.
Earlier in his career, Kothaari led IT implementation at Baggit India as CIO (October 2016–July 2017), held a Vice President – IT role at Travel Food Services Pvt Ltd (October 2010–October 2016), and managed IT functions at The Bombay Store (March 2008–September 2010).
At Speciality Restaurants Ltd, Kothaari is pioneering initiatives such as a QR code–based 3D digital menu across 14 brands, underscoring his drive for enhanced customer engagement through technology.
His broad expertise spans digital strategy, IT operations, ERP systems (notably Microsoft Dynamics 365), cybersecurity, and enterprise solution architecture.
