ScaleOps has raised $130 million in a Series C funding round as it looks to address growing inefficiencies in cloud and AI infrastructure, driven by the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence workloads. The round values the company at $800 million and was led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, NFX, Glilot Capital Partners, and Picture Capital.
The funding comes at a time when enterprises are facing increasing pressure from soaring cloud costs and underutilized computing resources. Despite the surge in AI adoption, many companies continue to struggle with inefficient resource allocation, where GPUs remain idle and workloads are over-provisioned. ScaleOps aims to solve this challenge by offering software that automatically manages and reallocates computing resources in real time.
Founded in 2022 by Yodar Shafrir, a former engineer at Run:ai, the company was built to address the growing complexity of managing AI-driven workloads. While platforms like Kubernetes enable applications to run across large clusters, they often rely on static configurations that fail to adapt to dynamic demand. This results in performance issues and increases operational costs, creating a gap that ScaleOps is attempting to fill with its autonomous infrastructure management solution.
ScaleOps’ platform connects application requirements directly with infrastructure decisions, enabling a fully automated system that adjusts resources based on real-time conditions. According to the company, its technology can reduce cloud and AI infrastructure costs by as much as 80%, while also improving performance and eliminating the need for constant manual intervention by engineering teams.
The company plans to use the newly raised capital to expand its product offerings, scale its operations, and strengthen its position in the rapidly evolving AI infrastructure market. As demand for AI continues to grow globally, solutions that optimize computing efficiency are becoming increasingly critical, positioning ScaleOps to play a significant role in helping enterprises manage the cost and complexity of next-generation digital workloads.
