Bengaluru-based short-video learning platform Seekho has secured $28 million in Series B funding, led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Goodwater Capital, Lightspeed India, and Elevation Capital. The company announced the fundraise via LinkedIn, noting that the fresh capital will accelerate its AI-driven personalisation efforts and support its plans for international expansion. Elluminate Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor for the transaction.
Founded in 2020 by Rohit Choudhary, Keertay Agarwal, and Yash Banwani, Seekho has carved a niche in the edtech space with its focus on short-form, engaging educational content. The platform offers over 10,000 bite-sized videos across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, covering topics in career development, business, and self-improvement. With 25 million monthly active users and quarterly usage growth of 60%, Seekho is capitalising on the rising demand for regional-language learning experiences.
In a statement celebrating the funding milestone, founder Rohit Choudhary said: “Learning should be relevant, bite-sized, and accessible in the palm of your hand. With Bessemer joining us, we’re excited to build a category-defining product that puts ‘Edutainment on Tap’ for the next 500 million Indians.”
The company pointed to an increase in willingness among Indian consumers to pay for digital content, a shift accelerated by the widespread adoption of UPI autopay, as a key driver behind its subscription growth. In FY24, Seekho reported revenue of ₹11.5 crore against a loss of ₹4.6 crore, and it sees India’s $2.5 billion subscription market as a massive opportunity for future growth.
With the Series B funds, Seekho plans to double down on its ambition to build a Made-in-India global learning brand. The company aims to enhance its recommendation algorithms, scale its regional-language library, and position itself as a leader in the emerging “edutainment” category, redefining how digital learning is consumed worldwide.
