ServiceNow has appointed Tirthankar Dutta as Director & Head – Cybersecurity Engineering & AI Automation, strengthening its focus on building AI-first, enterprise-grade security capabilities. “Excited to begin a new chapter at ServiceNow as Director & Head – Cybersecurity Engineering & AI Automation. A seasoned technology executive with over two decades of experience, Dutta has a proven record of aligning cybersecurity strategy with business transformation goals across Fortune 500 organizations. Known for his expertise in risk management, AI security governance, and cloud transformation, he has successfully led multi-million-dollar security portfolios and delivered measurable outcomes in operational resilience and regulatory compliance.

Before joining ServiceNow, Dutta served as Head of Enterprise IT (CIO) & Cybersecurity (CISO) for The Walt Disney Company’s APAC/EMEA operations, where he directed end-to-end security strategy for Disney Star, Disney+Hotstar, ESPN India, and Studios. He spearheaded global Security Operations (SOC), Third-Party Risk Management, and compliance programs while integrating Generative AI into Disney’s SOC, cutting incident response time by 40% and setting up enterprise-wide AI governance frameworks.

Dutta’s earlier roles include Sr. VP & Head of Information Security at Info Edge (India) Ltd., where he oversaw security for Naukri, 99acres, Jeevansathi, and Shiksha, and leadership positions at Expedia Group India, where he managed the Security Operations Center and business continuity planning.

An award-winning CIO and CISO, patent holder, and Forbes Technology Council member, Dutta is recognized for building security-first cultures, embedding innovation into business processes, and future-proofing digital ecosystems.

His appointment signals ServiceNow’s commitment to scaling secure digital transformation through automation and AI, aligning cybersecurity outcomes with enterprise value creation.
