ShashiRekha Gowda has taken on the role of Director of Technology at Synechron, effective March 2026. Based in Bengaluru, she will lead complex digital transformation initiatives and oversee high-impact technology delivery for the global financial services consulting and technology firm.
In her new position, ShashiRekha will focus on driving technology strategy and execution for large-scale transformation programs while supporting the company’s global clients. Her responsibilities include guiding technology teams, strengthening agile delivery frameworks and ensuring the successful execution of enterprise-scale technology initiatives.
Prior to joining Synechron, she held several leadership roles at HCLTech, where she spent more than six years contributing to large technology programs. Most recently, she served as Delivery Partner (Associate General Manager) from January 2024 to March 2026, leading development initiatives for global clients including ING Italy. In this role, she managed critical delivery functions involving program management, scope planning, cost control, scheduling, risk management, change management and forecasting.
Earlier at HCLTech, she worked as Delivery Lead between August 2022 and April 2024, overseeing enhancements and development work for enterprise projects. She also served as Group Project Manager from January 2020 to December 2023 and took on responsibilities as an Agile Coach from January 2020 to August 2022, helping teams adopt agile practices and improve project delivery efficiency.
Before her tenure at HCLTech, ShashiRekha spent more than fifteen years at Accenture, where she built a strong foundation in software engineering and delivery leadership. During this period, she progressed through multiple roles including Application Development Associate Manager and Scrum Master, eventually advancing to Application Development Manager and Scrum Master. In these roles, she supervised offshore teams of nearly 50 members and led enhancement programs for enterprise applications.
Her professional journey began as a Java programmer and gradually evolved into leadership positions that combined technical expertise with program management and client engagement responsibilities. Over the course of her career, she has developed deep capabilities in agile coaching, customer relationship management and enterprise application development, particularly in Java-based environments.
With more than 22 years of industry experience, ShashiRekha brings a strong track record of delivering end-to-end technology programs and leading high-performing teams. At Synechron, she will leverage her expertise in agile methodologies, large-scale program governance and digital transformation to support the company’s technology initiatives for clients in the financial services sector.
