Motorola Mobility (a Lenovo Company) has announced the promotion of Shivam Ranjan to the position of Global Head of Brand, a strategic move aimed at enhancing the company’s global brand identity and marketing efforts. In his new role, Ranjan will be responsible for leading global brand strategy and integrated marketing communications across Motorola’s product portfolio, software, and services.
This elevation follows his successful stint as the Head of Marketing for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, where he played a pivotal role in boosting brand visibility and driving growth. Ranjan acknowledged the support and mentorship he received throughout his journey, saying he is especially grateful to Prashanth Mani for his guidance and leadership.

With over a decade of experience in marketing and brand management, Ranjan brings a wealth of knowledge to his new global leadership role. Before joining Motorola, he held key positions at Samsung Electronics, where he led major mobile product launches, showcasing his ability to manage high-impact campaigns in competitive markets.
Ranjan also served at Airtel Payments Bank, where he oversaw brand and marketing strategy during its early growth stages. His professional journey includes roles at Infosys, Fiberlink, Arshiya Limited, and Kelvin Cold Chain Logistics Pvt. Ltd., where he developed a diverse and robust foundation in business strategy and communications.
