In her three-year journey at Mamaearth, Snigdha has been instrumental in shaping and scaling some of the company’s fastest-growing brands. She played a pivotal role in growing The Derma Co. from ₹100 Cr to ₹500 Cr and delivering 5X growth for BBlunt—achievements that reflect her sharp brand-building acumen and her ability to identify and scale high-potential categories in India’s competitive D2C market.
“Her deep expertise in brand-building and category development has positioned her as a standout leader in India’s D2C landscape,” the company said, recognizing her contribution to Mamaearth’s rapid expansion and innovation-led strategy.
Before joining Mamaearth, Snigdha spent over eight years at Unilever, where she worked on some of the company’s flagship brands such as Surf Excel. She also led Project Shakti, a celebrated rural initiative aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs while expanding brand presence in rural India. Her experience at Unilever helped her build a strong foundation in large-scale brand strategy, rural marketing, and category leadership.
An alumna of IIM Lucknow and a French Government Scholar, Snigdha brings a blend of strategic insight, operational excellence, and global exposure to her new leadership role at Mamaearth. Her elevation reflects the company’s continued focus on nurturing internal talent and reinforcing its leadership bench as it scales across domestic and international markets.
As consumer preferences evolve and the beauty and personal care sector becomes increasingly competitive, Mamaearth’s decision to entrust Snigdha with this key responsibility underscores the brand’s commitment to strengthening its market leadership through innovation, purpose-led marketing, and data-driven insights.
