Space-tech startup ULOOK has secured ₹19 crore (approximately $2.3 million) in a funding round co-led by growX ventures and InfoEdge Ventures, marking a significant milestone in its mission to revolutionize satellite-based data collection and intelligence. The fresh capital injection will enable the company to strengthen its radio-frequency (RF) sensing platform, accelerate satellite and sensor development, and expand its data intelligence offerings for global markets.
ULOOK is pioneering the development of autonomous satellite swarms designed for radio-frequency sensing and spectrum awareness. These satellite networks are engineered to deliver real-time detection, tracking, and analysis of activities across Earth’s surface, particularly in regions where optical or radar-based systems face operational challenges due to weather, terrain, or visibility conditions.
“The company is building autonomous satellite swarms for radio-frequency (RF) sensing and spectrum awareness, enabling real-time detection, tracking, and analysis of Earth’s surface activity — especially in regions where optical or radar systems struggle to operate effectively,” ULOOK stated.
With this investment, ULOOK aims to enhance the scalability and precision of its RF-sensing capabilities, which have applications across defence, national security, telecommunications, and infrastructure monitoring. The startup is also planning to launch its first satellite swarm within the next 12–18 months, a critical step toward validating its technology in orbit and demonstrating the potential of multi-satellite intelligence systems.
Positioned among India’s rapidly growing space-tech innovators, such as Pixxel, SatSure, Astrome, and Skyroot Aerospace, ULOOK stands out for its focus on autonomous coordination and RF intelligence, offering an alternative and complementary approach to traditional Earth observation technologies. Its data-driven platform is expected to support governments and enterprises in decision-making, threat detection, and spectrum management, especially in complex operational environments.
By combining advanced sensing technology with autonomous satellite networks, ULOOK is positioning itself at the forefront of India’s next-generation space ecosystem, contributing to the country’s ambition to become a global leader in commercial space innovation. The funding marks not just a boost for ULOOK but a reflection of growing investor confidence in India’s emerging deep-tech and space-tech sectors.
