
Amit Bhargava has been appointed Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited, reinforcing the organisation’s cybersecurity leadership as digital transformation accelerates across the insurance sector.
In this role, Bhargava will lead the company’s cybersecurity strategy, risk management and digital resilience initiatives. His mandate includes safeguarding critical systems, protecting customer data and strengthening the security of digital platforms while supporting the company’s broader digital innovation and business growth efforts.
Bhargava brings extensive experience in information security across the banking and financial services industry. Prior to joining TATA AIG, he held key cybersecurity leadership roles at Axis Bank, Yes Bank, OakNorth, AU Small Finance Bank and Union Bank of India, where he led enterprise security programmes and strengthened cyber defence frameworks.
With deep expertise in threat management, cyber risk governance and security operations, Bhargava is expected to play a critical role in enhancing TATA AIG’s cyber resilience and reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to secure and trusted digital financial services.
