Drizz, a fast-growing AI-native testing automation startup, has raised $2.7 million (approx. INR 23.4 Cr) in a seed funding round led by Stellaris Venture Partners, with participation from Shastra VC and notable angel investors including Anuj Rathi (ex-CBO, Cleartrip) and Vaibhav Domkundwar (Founder & CEO, Better Capital).
Founded in December 2024 by Asad Abrar (ex-Meesho, Coinbase), Yash Varyani (ex-Amazon), and Partha Mohanty, Drizz enables developers and QA teams to create and maintain end-to-end test coverage using natural language prompts, powered by its proprietary Vision AI engine.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate product innovation, expand the engineering team, and enhance research capabilities.
“We’re enabling high test coverage across APIs, UI, and more—powered entirely through AI,” said cofounder Asad Abrar.
“Our pay-per-outcome model aligns with the next-gen AI SaaS paradigm,” added Partha Mohanty.
The fundraise underscores growing investor confidence in AI-led solutions that streamline manual processes. It also aligns with a broader funding momentum in India’s GenAI ecosystem, which has seen significant capital infusion in July alone—from ventures like GreyLabs AI, Grexa AI, Gobblecube, and Trupeer.AI.
According to Inc42 and GenAI’s 2025 report, India’s AI startup ecosystem has already raised over $1.5 Bn since 2022 and is projected to exceed $17 Bn by 2030.
