Ruma Kishore is set to take over as Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO) at Titan Company Limited, with her appointment coming into effect on July 1, 2026. This transition marks a significant shift in the company’s technology leadership as it continues to sharpen its digital focus.
She will succeed Krishnan Venkateswaran, who will step down from the role upon his retirement at the end of June 2026. The decision was approved by the company’s Board of Directors following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, as outlined in a regulatory disclosure.
In her new role, Kishore will be responsible for steering Titan’s digital transformation agenda, shaping enterprise technology strategy, and driving innovation across key areas including customer experience, supply chain, and overall business operations. Her mandate will also include aligning digital initiatives closely with business objectives to support long-term growth.
Kishore joins Titan from Unilever, where she currently serves as Director – Digital Transformation and Customer Experience. Over the years, she has led large-scale global transformation programs spanning sales, supply chain, and finance, while also holding leadership roles such as IT Director – Strategy to Cash and IT Director – Europe SAP. Her experience reflects a strong ability to integrate technology with business processes at scale.
With a career spanning more than 28 years, she brings deep expertise in digital transformation, enterprise systems, and customer-centric innovation. Her leadership has consistently focused on enhancing operational efficiency and delivering measurable business outcomes through technology-driven initiatives across global organizations.
She has also earned widespread recognition in the technology leadership space, having been featured among India’s top women IT leaders by prominent publications such as The Economic Times and The Indian Express. Notably, she is the first woman to receive the Distinguished Alumna award from IIM Mumbai, where she currently serves on the Board of Governors.
Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Kishore is actively involved in mentoring at the Indian School of Business and contributes to policy and education initiatives through her association with the All India Council for Technical Education.
This leadership change comes at a time when organizations are placing increased emphasis on digital capabilities and customer experience as critical growth drivers. With Ruma Kishore at the helm of its digital function, Titan Company is expected to further strengthen its technology-led strategy while adapting to evolving consumer expectations in an increasingly digital-first environment.
