Based in Indore, Umesh will now head Glenmark’s formulations cluster, a key operational unit within the company. This elevation follows his previous role as Vice President – Operations.
With more than two decades of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and operations, Umesh brings deep knowledge and proven leadership to his new role. His career spans a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including overseeing production, supply chain management, and quality assurance for both domestic and international manufacturing sites.
Over the years, Umesh has held senior positions at several leading pharmaceutical organizations such as Granules India Limited, Zydus Group, Ipca Laboratories Limited, and SUN PHARMA. In each of these roles, he contributed significantly to process optimization, regulatory readiness, and operational efficiency.
