Prior to joining Netflix, he served as Executive Director and Marketing Head at JioStar, where he drove high-impact campaigns across digital, television, and experiential platforms, helping the brand expand its visibility and connect deeply with diverse audiences.
Before his tenure at JioStar, Vamsi made a lasting mark at Disney+ Hotstar, where he redefined entertainment marketing with data-driven, full-funnel strategies that shaped how Indian audiences engage with streaming platforms. During his time there, he established the platform’s leadership in sports marketing and oversaw the success of several popular original productions such as Criminal Justice, Aarya, Special Ops, and Koffee with Karan. His work not only enhanced content visibility but also set new benchmarks in storytelling and audience retention in India’s OTT space.
Over the years, Vamsi has held key marketing roles at BookMyShow, ZEE5, Myntra Jabong, MakeMyTrip, Reliance Communications, and Radio Mirchi, where he helped create some of the country’s most memorable and culturally resonant brand campaigns.
