Vervesemi Raises $10 Million Series A to Advance ML-Driven Semiconductor Innovation

Vervesemi Microelectronics, a fabless semiconductor startup based in Noida, has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round co-led by investor Ashish Kacholia and Unicorn India Ventures. The round also saw participation from Roots Ventures, Caperize Fina, and MAIQ Growth Scheme.

Prior to this, the company had secured $500,000 in earlier funding. With the fresh capital, Vervesemi plans to fast-track the commercial rollout of its machine learning–enhanced analog signal chain integrated circuits. The funds will also be directed toward expanding its semiconductor intellectual property portfolio, strengthening research and development capabilities, and building a go-to-market presence across Asia, the United States, and other major semiconductor markets, according to a company press release.

Founded in 2017 by Rakesh Malik and Pratap Narayan Singh, Vervesemi Microelectronics focuses on high-performance analog and mixed-signal IP and differentiated integrated circuits designed for global, mission-critical applications. The company leverages proprietary machine learning–enabled architectures aimed at improving reliability, manufacturing yield, and overall system-level performance.

Over the past year, Vervesemi has made notable progress in technology validation and commercial preparedness. It has successfully validated its ML-enabled analog signal chain architecture in silicon, with multiple customers already moving into production. At the same time, the company has expanded its product pipeline and strengthened customer engagements across industrial and smart energy sectors.

Recently, the startup introduced a new motor control product line tailored for high-efficiency and high-reliability applications in electric vehicles, drones, and industrial automation. These solutions combine precision sensing, intelligent control, and advanced fault detection mechanisms to enhance both operational performance and safety standards.

In parallel, Vervesemi has reinforced partnerships across fabrication, packaging, and testing ecosystems to enable scalable manufacturing and faster silicon validation cycles. This integrated approach is designed to ensure smoother transitions from design to deployment.

The company states that it has developed more than 140 semiconductor IP blocks and 25 integrated circuit product variants serving industries such as space, defence, industrial systems, motor control, and smart energy. Its innovation portfolio is supported by 10 patents and five trade secrets.

Vervesemi is also an IP alliance partner within the Samsung Advanced Foundry Ecosystem (SAFE) and collaborates with UMC as an IP alliance partner, strengthening its integration within global semiconductor supply chains.

With this Series A round, the company aims to move from technology validation to broader market penetration, positioning itself as a differentiated player in the global analog and mixed-signal semiconductor landscape.
