Vikram Puranik has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer at Birlasoft. In this role, he will oversee global operations, focusing on driving execution excellence and strengthening delivery capabilities across the organization.
His mandate includes improving operational efficiency, scaling delivery models, and aligning business operations with strategic growth priorities across key markets and industry verticals. He will also play a critical role in advancing the company’s digital transformation initiatives and ensuring consistent performance across global engagements.
Puranik brings over two decades of experience spanning engineering, delivery management, and large-scale digital transformation. Prior to joining Birlasoft, he held senior leadership roles at GlobalLogic, where he served in multiple capacities including Senior Vice President and Global Delivery Head, leading communication, consumer, and media verticals.
He also led delivery and operations as Vice President at Infostretch, where he was responsible for managing India-based teams and supporting enterprise digital transformation programs.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Nitor Infotech (an Ascendion company), Persistent Systems, Accenture, and Infogain, building extensive expertise in managing global delivery organizations and driving operational excellence.
With a strong track record of leading high-performing teams and executing transformation at scale, Vikram Puranik is well-positioned to enhance Birlasoft’s operational capabilities.
