Wells Fargo has named Manoj Philip Mathen as Executive Director, Head of AI, Innovation & Modeling for India and the Philippines. In this strategic leadership role, Mathen will drive AI-led innovation, modeling initiatives, and digital transformation programs across Wells Fargo’s operations in the region. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Mathen spent nearly nine years with Oracle, where he most recently served as Distinguished Cloud Architect at the JAPAC Cloud Engineering Center of Excellence. He also worked as Software Architect (IC6) within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), developing lifecycle management solutions across SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, and IaaS environments — experience that deepened his expertise in enterprise-grade cloud ecosystems.
Earlier in his career, Mathen spent 13 years with Infosys, rising through the ranks from Software Engineer and Onsite Coordinator to Senior Technology Architect. During his tenure, he worked closely with global CXOs, helping them implement AI/ML-driven strategies, align IT transformation with business outcomes, and execute internationalisation projects and mainframe-to-cloud migration programs.
