Bringing over 20 years of experience across banking, fintech, and capital markets, Manu Prakash is a seasoned finance leader with deep expertise in debt structuring, capital markets, trade finance, and institutional partnerships. His appointment signals WeRize’s commitment to enhancing financial discipline while scaling its technology-driven offerings.
Prior to joining WeRize, Manu served as Managing Director & Head – Debt & Capital Markets at CredAble, where he played a pivotal role in building institutional funding platforms and structured finance solutions. His work at CredAble helped bridge institutional capital with innovative financing mechanisms, strengthening the company’s funding and operational capabilities.
Manu’s career also includes senior leadership roles at leading global and Indian financial institutions such as SMBC Group, HSBC, Standard Chartered, and ICICI Bank. Across these roles, he gained extensive experience in structured finance, institutional banking, and capital market transactions, providing him with a unique perspective that combines traditional banking frameworks with modern fintech ecosystems.
