WLDD Acquires Imagined Studio To Expand Creative and Tech Capabilities

Digital marketing startup Wubba Lubba Dub Dub (WLDD) has acquired Bengaluru-based creative agency Imagined Studio in an all-cash deal, according to sources cited.

As part of the acquisition, the entire team at Imagined will transition to WLDD. Additionally, Ritvik Varghese, cofounder of Imagined, will continue to be associated with WLDD in an advisory capacity, the sources said. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.

Confirming the acquisition, WLDD cofounder and CEO Arihant Jain stated, “The acquisition will bring AI, technology, and design capabilities to WLDD.” He also noted that the integration of Imagined Studio would support the company in servicing clients based in the United States.

Launched in 2024, Imagined Studio provides creative solutions tailored for marketing and product teams, offering services such as 3D design, motion graphics, video production, advertisements, and social media content. Its clientele includes notable names like Zerodha, Simpl, and Armatrix.

This move follows WLDD’s earlier acquisition of Pune-based sneaker brand 7-10 around two months ago. At the time, Jain said, “We want to understand each and every aspect of running and growing a D2C brand so that if I go to my clients in the similar space, I can offer them something that I have tried.” Before that, WLDD had also taken over ScoopWhoop from The Good Glamm Group.

Founded in 2018 by Arihant Jain, Jaidev Kesti, and Vivekanand Kilari, WLDD began as a meme-centric digital marketing firm. It secured $1.2 million in seed funding from Negen Capital in 2023.

The startup claims a network of over 3,000 meme creators and a creator community exceeding 10,000 individuals. It has reportedly executed more than 1,000 social media campaigns for over 120 brands, including Disney, Spotify, and Sony Music. Apart from meme marketing, its services include influencer marketing, experiential campaigns, and content creation on demand.

Financially, WLDD reported revenue of ₹45 crore and a profit of ₹4 crore in FY24. It expects to surpass $10 million (approximately ₹86 crore) in revenue for FY25.
