66degrees has appointed Subhashini “Subha” Panyam as its Chief People Officer, strengthening its leadership team with an experienced human resources executive whose career spans more than two decades across talent acquisition, HR strategy, organisational transformation and global workforce development.
Panyam joins 66degrees following an extensive tenure at Hitachi Digital Services, where she most recently served as Senior Director and Global Head of Talent Acquisition. During her association with the organisation, she held a series of progressively senior positions covering regional and global responsibilities. These included Global Head of Talent Acquisition, Talent Acquisition – Americas Leader and Global Business Partner for Digital Solutions, Regional Director and Talent Acquisition Leader for India and Vietnam, as well as Country Director for Talent Acquisition in India.
Before joining Hitachi Digital Services, Panyam held senior human resources leadership positions at Broadridge. She served as Vice President – HR Business Partner and Head of Talent Acquisition, contributing to the company’s broader people and talent agenda. Earlier in her career, she worked with ADP, CSC and LS Consultancy, gaining experience across multiple dimensions of human resources and recruitment.
Over the years, Panyam has developed expertise in executive and leadership hiring, strategic workforce planning, talent development, employer branding and organisational effectiveness. Her experience also encompasses talent integration following mergers and acquisitions, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives, data-driven recruitment, HR transformation and the development of global talent capabilities.
Her appointment marks a transition from leading large-scale talent acquisition mandates to assuming an enterprise-wide people leadership role. It also brings together her experience in talent strategy, business partnering and organisational transformation at a time when companies are rethinking workforce structures, skills and operating models.
At 66degrees, Panyam’s leadership experience is expected to support the organisation as it advances its people strategy and builds the workforce capabilities required for its next phase of growth. As a company focused on artificial intelligence, data and cloud-led transformation, 66degrees operates in a market where access to specialised talent, continuous reskilling and organisational agility have become critical business priorities.
The appointment reflects the growing strategic importance of the Chief People Officer’s role within technology organisations. Beyond managing traditional HR functions, people leaders are increasingly expected to shape workforce strategy, strengthen leadership pipelines, build future-ready skills and align organisational culture with business transformation.
Panyam’s combination of global talent acquisition expertise and broader HR leadership experience positions her to contribute to these priorities as 66degrees continues to scale its operations and expand its enterprise transformation capabilities.
