LTIMindtree has officially named Venu Lambu as its next Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, with his term beginning May 31, 2025, following the retirement of current CEO Debashis Chatterjee at the conclusion of the company’s 29th Annual General Meeting.
Lambu, who was serving as CEO Designate, had been collaborating closely with Chatterjee to ensure a seamless leadership transition. His appointment marks a significant milestone as the company prepares for its next phase of growth.
Debashis Chatterjee, affectionately known as “DC,” took the reins at Mindtree in 2019 and later led the merged entity LTIMindtree, guiding it to become India’s sixth-largest IT services provider by revenue. Reflecting on his tenure, Chatterjee shared, “It has been an incredible journey leading this organization through its foundational and transformational phases. I take great pride in the groundwork we’ve laid for the future.”
- N. Subrahmanyan, Chairman of LTIMindtree, acknowledged Chatterjee’s contributions, describing him as “a remarkable leader with deep insight and integrity,” and expressed appreciation for his leadership. The Board also conveyed full confidence in Lambu’s ability to steer the company into its next chapter of innovation and global expansion.
As Lambu steps into his new role, LTIMindtree signals a continued commitment to delivering digital excellence and client-focused transformation under fresh leadership.
