Mumbai, India — TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited has announced the appointment of Meghana Rao as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). With over two decades of experience in human capital strategy, leadership development, and organizational culture, she brings extensive expertise in building high-performing, future-ready teams.
In her new role, Meghana will lead the company’s people agenda, focusing on enhancing leadership effectiveness, strengthening capability development, and driving initiatives to foster an inclusive and performance-driven workplace culture. Her mandate also includes bolstering TATA AIG’s employer brand to attract and retain top talent in a competitive market.
Before joining TATA AIG, Meghana served as Human Resources Director for Flipkart’s Supply Chain Organization, where she was instrumental in scaling operations, driving workforce agility, and implementing HR strategies to support rapid business growth.
She spent 15 years with ICICI Bank in various senior HR roles, contributing to leadership development, talent management, and employee engagement strategies across the organization. Meghana began her career with Larsen & Toubro, gaining foundational experience in employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation.
