
Genpact has announced the appointment of Ajith Madhavan as Vice President, reinforcing the company’s leadership capabilities in finance, operations, and business transformation services. With more than two decades of experience across global enterprises and consulting firms, Madhavan brings deep expertise in financial operations, service delivery, and operational transformation to his new role.
Before rejoining Genpact, Ajith Madhavan was associated with Allianz, where he served as Head of Financial Business Services, India. In this role, he led key financial operations and transformation initiatives while focusing on operational efficiency and process optimization. Earlier at Allianz, he also worked as Service Delivery Lead, contributing to large-scale business service management and finance transformation programs across the organization.
Madhavan’s return to Genpact is expected to support the company’s continued focus on digital transformation and finance modernization for global clients. Industry experts note that enterprises are increasingly seeking leaders with strong expertise in process excellence, automation, and operational scalability as organizations continue to evolve their finance and shared services functions. Throughout his career, Madhavan has held leadership positions across several multinational companies and consulting firms. His professional journey includes important roles at Treeline Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd., A.P. Moller – Maersk, IBM, ACS, and Accenture. Across these organizations, he developed extensive experience in finance and accounting operations, procure-to-pay processes, customer service management, and enterprise service delivery.
His expertise spans multiple operational domains including finance and accounting transformation, process improvement, shared services management, and business operations optimization. Madhavan has also been actively involved in driving efficiency-focused initiatives designed to enhance productivity, reduce operational complexity, and improve service delivery standards across global business environments.
