Hamilton Housewares (Milton) has appointed Rohit Jindal as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). With over 17 years of experience spanning retail, FMCG, and manufacturing sectors, Jindal will be responsible for spearheading HR strategy, systems, and operations to further strengthen people practices and support the company’s organizational growth.
Prior to taking up this role, Jindal served as Head of Human Resources at Hygienic Research Institute (HRIPL), where he spent more than eight years. At HRIPL, he was instrumental in building talent strategies and driving HR initiatives across India for renowned brands such as Vasmol and Streax. His contributions included aligning HR frameworks with business objectives in diverse markets and customer segments.
Before HRIPL, Jindal worked with Raymond Consumer Care in a leadership position, where he played a key role in supporting the expansion of flagship FMCG brands like Park Avenue, KS, Premium, and KamaSutra. His focus on talent engagement and organizational culture during this period was central to ensuring the company’s growth ambitions were supported by strong HR systems.
Earlier in his career, Jindal spent several years with Lafarge India Limited as Assistant General Manager – Human Resources. At Lafarge, he was not only involved in HR leadership across cement and ready-mix concrete operations but was also recognized as a Lafarge University Certified Facilitator and Brand Ambassador. These responsibilities positioned him as a key contributor to employee development and organizational alignment during a critical phase of Lafarge’s growth in India.
Jindal began his professional journey with Reliance Retail as Deputy Manager – Human Resources, where he played an active role in establishing HR systems and frameworks at a time when the company was undergoing rapid retail expansion nationwide. His early contributions laid a strong foundation for his subsequent leadership roles.
With this appointment at Hamilton Housewares, Jindal brings with him a strong track record of integrating HR strategy with business transformation. His multi-industry experience, ranging from retail and FMCG to manufacturing, is expected to help Hamilton enhance its talent capabilities and sustain long-term growth.
