In his new role, George will spearhead efforts to expand Confluent’s footprint in India, driving adoption of real-time data streaming solutions across sectors such as BFSI, government, enterprises, and digital-native businesses. His focus will be on enabling organizations to harness the power of data to unlock business value, enhance decision-making, and fuel innovation.
George brings with him nearly three decades of diverse experience, including nine years working across global markets such as the USA, UK, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia. His expertise spans enterprise software, cloud services, consulting, and sales, making him well-positioned to guide Confluent’s growth strategy in a rapidly digitizing India.
Throughout his career, George has held leadership positions at major technology companies, including Microsoft, Oracle, Wipro, and TCS. In these roles, he was instrumental in building and mentoring high-performing teams, achieving consistent revenue growth, and leading business turnarounds in challenging environments. His extensive cross-industry experience—covering startups, ITES, BFSI, and retail—adds further depth to his leadership profile.
An alumnus of IIM Bangalore’s Executive General Management Program, George is recognized as an entrepreneurial and results-driven leader with a passion for business transformation. His expertise extends to enterprise sales, program management, and the design of large-scale transformation initiatives.
