Mohit Kabra Promoted to Group COO at MakeMyTrip to Drive Operational Excellence and Strategic Growth

MakeMyTrip has promoted Mohit Kabra to the position of Group Chief Operating Officer, recognizing his pivotal contributions over 14 years at the company. Having served most recently as CFO, Kabra played a central role in financial planning, tax and treasury management, legal administration, investor relations, and implementing scalable processes. His elevation underscores MakeMyTrip’s commitment to operational excellence and its strategic expansion in the evolving travel and hospitality sector.

During his tenure as CFO, Kabra was instrumental in streamlining complex financial and operational workflows, ensuring robust governance, and strengthening investor confidence. His leadership in creating efficient, scalable processes has helped position MakeMyTrip to capitalize on growth opportunities while maintaining operational resilience across its business units.

Before joining MakeMyTrip, Kabra gained extensive experience in senior leadership roles at KOHLER India, PepsiCo – Frito Lay, Seagrams (now Pernod Ricard), Colgate-Palmolive, and NFCL. Across these positions, he built deep expertise in finance, operations, and business transformation, enabling him to lead cross-functional teams, optimize organizational processes, and drive strategic initiatives.

With this promotion, Kabra is expected to steer MakeMyTrip’s operational strategy, ensuring that the company continues to innovate and scale efficiently while meeting the dynamic needs of travelers and enterprise partners.
