Accenture and Snowflake have launched the Accenture Snowflake Business Group, a dedicated initiative designed to help global enterprises rapidly scale their AI and data-driven transformation efforts. The collaboration aims to combine Accenture’s reinvention strategy expertise with Snowflake’s enterprise-grade data and AI platform, enabling organisations to extract deeper value from their data, adopt trustworthy AI and accelerate innovation. Highlighting the intent behind the partnership, Manish Sharma said the initiative will help companies harness reliable, accessible and contextualised data, paired with advanced AI capabilities, to fundamentally reinvent how they operate.
Snowflake CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy emphasised that the partnership has already shown strong results, noting that it has enabled hundreds of organisations to unlock AI’s potential, bringing together the strengths of both companies to scale high-impact enterprise solutions. The new business group is structured to support clients in building AI-powered applications, improving decision-making across functions and maximising the utility of their data assets for continuous innovation.
One of the early enterprise engagement areas is Caterpillar Inc., where the joint expertise of Accenture and Snowflake is being applied to improve several core operations. With the support of this collaboration, Caterpillar is working to enhance manufacturing quality, generate quicker financial insights and bolster knowledge management systems to make data more actionable across the organisation. CIO Jamie Engstrom highlighted the transformative potential of this initiative, stating that the partnership—combined with the company’s IT AI Centre of Excellence—will enable Caterpillar to make faster, data-informed decisions that increase efficiency and deliver greater value.
