
VUPICO has elevated Vijay Joshi to the role of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), strengthening its leadership focus on information security as the company continues to scale its platform and global operations. The move highlights VUPICO’s intent to embed security deeply into its business strategy while proactively addressing evolving cyber risks.

In his new role, Joshi will lead the implementation of VUPICO’s Information Security Management System and shape a long-term security roadmap aligned with the organisation’s core values of quality, security, privacy and sustainability. “Leading the implementation of our Information Security Management System is just the beginning.” His focus will be on building a forward-looking security strategy that balances present-day risks with future threats. “I’m focused on building a security strategy that not only addresses today’s threats but anticipates tomorrow’s challenges while staying true to our values of quality, security, privacy, and sustainability.”
Joshi brings more than two decades of diverse professional experience across sustainability, ESG, product management, presales and enterprise platforms. At VUPICO, he has spent over three years in senior roles, most recently as Senior Presales, where he drove revenue enablement, early-stage sales engagement, customer success support and sustainability advisory. Earlier, as Senior SME – Product Management for the Sustainability Data Platform, he played a key role in shaping product capabilities from concept to implementation across Singapore, Japan and India.
Before joining VUPICO, Joshi held leadership roles at Greenko Group, where he managed ESG and sustainability initiatives across renewable energy, storage assets and zero-carbon businesses. His earlier career also includes long tenures in asset management, environmental health and safety, integrated management systems and sustainability reporting in the power and manufacturing sectors.
