Enlight Metals Powers Ratnagiri Airport with AI-Driven Steel Supply, Ensuring Quality Procurement Assistance

New Delhi — Enlight Metals Pvt. Ltd., India’s leading AI-driven metal aggregator, has supported the Ratnagiri Airport project by supplying construction-grade steel, reinforcing its growing presence in India’s aviation and public infrastructure sector.

The company is enabling the project through a structured, AI-led supply planning model designed to ensure the timely availability of materials across execution-critical construction phases. Airport infrastructure projects are highly sensitive to material delays, making a predictable steel supply a key determinant of project timelines and cost control.

“In large infrastructure projects, steel is not merely a raw material; it directly influences execution schedules,” said Vedant Goel, Director, Enlight Metals.“At Ratnagiri Airport, our objective has been to remove procurement uncertainty and support uninterrupted construction progress.”

For the project, Enlight Metals is supplying mild steel products, including structural steel sections, plates, sheets, and other construction-grade materials used across terminal buildings, hangars, and allied airport infrastructure. All materials are sourced from approved mills and delivered in strict compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.

By leveraging AI-enabled demand forecasting and supply coordination, Enlight Metals has moved away from reactive procurement to predictive planning. This approach has improved delivery adherence, reduced procurement turnaround time by 20–25%, and limited exposure to short-term price volatility through early sourcing and centralized vendor management.

In addition to operational efficiencies, the project has contributed to local economic activity by generating 50+ indirect employment opportunities through logistics partners, warehousing services, and site-level operations in the Ratnagiri region.

Building on its experience across metro rail and airport infrastructure projects, Enlight Metals plans to extend its AI-driven supply model across additional regional airports and large government-led infrastructure developments in the coming years.
