
Pankaj Gautam has been appointed as Chief Technology & Security Officer at HealthCare Global Enterprises Limited (HCG), effective on or before February 15, 2026. With this appointment, he joins the company’s Senior Management Personnel and will be responsible for shaping the organization’s overall technology direction, security framework, and digital health strategy.
In his new capacity, Gautam will lead HCG’s enterprise-wide technology roadmap, focusing on strengthening healthcare delivery through advanced IT infrastructure and integrated digital systems. His mandate includes driving large-scale digital transformation programs, overseeing security operations, and advancing enterprise HIS and EMR-EHR platforms across the network. He will also spearhead initiatives aimed at building integrated health delivery networks and scaling technology-enabled care models, while ensuring robust data protection and resilient infrastructure across HCG’s hospitals and care facilities.
Gautam brings more than two decades of experience at the intersection of healthcare and technology. Prior to joining HCG, he served as Group Chief Information Officer at Rainbow Children’s Hospitals. He also held the position of Senior Director – Enterprise, Digital Health and Business Development at GENWORKS Health, where he contributed to enterprise transformation and digital health initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Gautam spent nearly 18 years at Apollo Hospitals, holding multiple leadership roles within Corporate IT & Systems. During this tenure, he led complex healthcare IT implementations, process modernization programs, and enterprise-scale digital initiatives designed to enhance clinical and operational performance.
Gautam’s expertise spans digital health strategy, enterprise transformation, technology-enabled care delivery, and operational leadership within healthcare environments. In his new role, he will drive HCG’s digital and technological priorities, reinforcing the company’s commitment to innovation, security, and operational excellence.
