Cleartrip has appointed Pallavi Saxena as Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer (CMRO), strengthening the leadership team at the online travel platform. In her new role, Saxena will oversee the company’s marketing strategy along with growth planning and insights functions as it focuses on expanding its presence in the competitive travel market.
Saxena joins Cleartrip from Flipkart, where she spent more than a decade working across several high-impact business categories. Most recently, she served as Senior Director, leading the marketing, revenue and customer growth function for the company’s Lifestyle category. During her tenure, she worked on category building, customer-first strategies and data-driven growth initiatives.
Commenting on the appointment, Manjari Singhal, Chief Growth and Business Officer at Cleartrip, said Saxena joins the company at an important stage of its journey.
“Having spent over a decade at Flipkart, she deeply understands the ethos of building at scale, moving with speed and staying customer-first, which is core to how we operate,” Singhal said.
She added that as Cleartrip focuses on building a stronger travel brand, closer alignment between marketing and revenue functions will play an important role in the company’s next phase of growth.
“Pallavi brings the right mix of data-led thinking, brand instinct and execution strength to help us unlock the next phase of growth,” Singhal said.
Saxena said the travel industry is becoming increasingly experience-led and competitive, making it important for companies to focus on brand recall and strategic revenue planning.
“Cleartrip is at an exciting stage of its journey. Travel is becoming more experience-led and more competitive, and that calls for sharper storytelling, stronger brand recall and smarter revenue strategy. My priority will be to build an integrated marketing and revenue engine that puts the customer first, improving efficiency to fuel our next leg of growth. I’m looking forward to working with the team to take Cleartrip to its next chapter,” she said.
